What is Sage 50 Manufacturing?
Sage 50 Manufacturing is a software solution created by Sage that integrates with their Sage 50 Accounts package. It enables small manufacturers to manage various aspects of their production including their Bill of Materials, Works Orders and Stock.

Sage 50 Manufacturing is now end of life
As of September 2021, Sage removed all support and services for their Sage 50 Manufacturing product.
This means that if you are still using it, your business could be left vulnerable to security issues. It has also not had any development in a significant amount of time.
There is also a compatibility issue with Sage 50 Accounts v28, meaning you cannot make use of any of the new features or security updates released in that version and beyond.

Sage have announced a recommended replacement for their Sage 50 Manufacturing solution: Cim50 Manufacturing. This is fully integrated with Sage 50 Accounts, is continuously developed and supported, and there is also a complete migration path available.

Migration to Cim50
Migration to Cim50 from Sage 50 Manufacturing is simple and VSI can manage the whole process from start to finish.
